WEEKEND AWAY - CROWS NEST, QLD

 

2 nights – Friday 19th March to Sunday 21st March

 

FRIDAY

Our morning tea stop will be at Chocolate Cottage Café at Highfields

Then onto Black Forest Hill Cuckoo Clock Centre at Cabarlah

Then onto Crows Nest Soft Drink Factory for a tour & BYO lunch at park.

Accommodation for 2 nights at Crows Nest Tourist Park at $99.00 per night in self contained cabins with microwave and toaster.

Friday night we will be having dinner at the restaurant at the Tourist Park.

SATURDAY

Saturday we will be going to Historical Village and having morning tea there with tour.  Cost is adults $10 Pensioner $8 and morning tea $5 per person.

Then we will be driving out to Lake Cressbrook for BYO lunch.

There will be a bush poet attending back at Tourist Park in afternoon followed by BYO BBQ.

Sunday we will be having breakfast at “The Woods” at Ravensbourne on way home.

JANUARY

COVID-19: GREATER BRISBANE LOCKDOWN

This event will not be going ahead as planned due to the Greater Brisbane Lockdown.

10th Sunday- 35th ANNIVERSARY LUNCH

We are celebrating 35 years that our club has been going.  The venue will be Wynnum Tavern at 2000 Wynnum Road near Wynnum Plaza Shopping Centre.  Be there between 11.30 and 12 for lunch.  We will be ordering off the menu. 

I need nos. by 3rd January and any dietary requirements - So either phone me or text me to let me know.

CANCELLED - This months general meeting has been canceled.

 

20th Wednesday - Club Meeting - Wellington Point

Girl Guides Hall, Roberts Street, Wellington Point at 7.30pm

26th Tuesday- AUSTRALIA DAY RALLY - Ormiston State School

Australia Day Rally hosted by Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club

At Ormiston State School entry via Wellington Street.  Complimentary breakfast with tea & coffee from 7am to 9am.  Vehicle display until 10am then go on a run.  Raffles on the day.  Also our club are selling drinks on the day with proceeds going to Sailability.  It would be appreciated if we could have some volunteers to help sell drinks as we have 3 stalls selling the drinks.

FEBRUARY

17th Wednesday - CLUB MEETING - Wellington Point

Girl Guides Hall, Roberts Street, Wellington Point at 7.30pm

18th Thursday - GOLD COAST MOTOR MUSEUM - Upper Coomera

 

Leaving Eagleby boat ramp at 9.30am.  Take Exit 34 (Beenleigh Nth) Pacific Motorway then take 1st exit towards Logan River Parklands turn left onto River Hills Road and take 2nd street on right and turn right to boat ramp.  We will have Morning Tea at venue at Stanleys Barn then do a tour of museum. Cost $20.00 Adults $15.00 Seniors.  After tour we will have BYO lunch at Jabiru Island Park at Paradise Point.

28th Sunday - SPRINGFIELD & KHOLO GARDENS

Leaving Caltex Mackenzie on Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Road at 9am.

We are going to Springfield for BYO Morning Tea then onto Kholo Gardens for BYO lunch.
